BIO
I’ve been making music in one form of another for well over 20 years, starting with singing in the school choir and playing the flute in the school orchestra, before picking up a guitar and playing in punk rock and metal bands in my teens. This was followed by some years as a piano-led singer-songwriter and my old band Paddy Johnston & The Love Explosion (RIP), which later splintered into the electro-pop band Palomino Club.
After many years of playing in bands, I’ve turned my focus to composition, production and sound design, and I’m now focused on game audio, which has always been my dream, ever since I turned on my first black and white Game Boy and booted up Link’s Awakening in the early 90s. I started out making lofi remixes of my favourite game OSTs (you might know me if you’ve ever searched ‘Castlevania and Chill’ on YouTube), and am now composing original music for games, without using generative AI.
I’m focused on games, but have also worked on some other cool audio projects including podcasts and audiobooks. If you’d like me to create audio for your game or creative project, get in touch! You can also get access to a folder of my tracks you can use in your game, completely royalty-free, if you sign up to my mailing list.
